Fish and Chips
Consider then, one who is in a sudden state of equilibrium,
And from the body comes a feeling of being uplifted, risen almost,
There is a presence of something incomprehensible,
And being spoken of just as its awareness is being felt,
A power is working to penetrate through the mind’s defenses,
The throb of emotion slowly becoming more violent,
And soon the eyes shed a tear, warming the cheeks unimpeded,
And from whence this came goes in the mystery direction,
For there is neither wisdom, theology, nor ideology identifiable,
Thus hesitant, and concerned to safely bridge a long pause,
The equilibrium is given its mystical makeover, and then set down,
This one having known the salty taste of possession before.
