Justice

A daughter, a sister, found dead in a park;

A vagrant, a drug addict, killed her;

Her skull bashed in when she wouldn’t let him rape her;

He’s been in jail, with three meals a day;

A warm bed;

Daily exercise;

Rehabilitation;

Parole is imminent;

A vagrant no more, for justice is served;

As grief is forever;

And the beds inside are really warm.
