Wraiths

Indeed, the famed couple eroticised by cameras;

More or less lost, symbiotically remote;

And willing to share, they’re in love with their clones;

Their truth that is stillborn when it comes to light;

Addicted to enemas, they are living compost;

First abandoned at the base of their cribs;

Their rampant vanities, their first childhood gifts;

Who named them each Universe and Earth?

They’re often for change, yet disabled in flight;

Their media personalities, a merciless rift;

Their blank interacting when talking love;

They become people when acting out children’s books;

As models for roles, they encourage shopping goals;

The law of vanity says attention could slow;

Paperback friends will soon be dropping away;

They are media wraiths waiting on the verge.
